The individual ranking of the second round also counts as Grand Prix qualification. After finishing in 68.75 seconds, Simon Delestre jumped to victory with the 12-year-old Zangersheide gelding, Dexter Fontenis (by Diarado). Delestre and the 12-year-old son of Diarado, bred by S-Ky Horses, narrowly stayed ahead of Emanuele Camilli and the 13-year-old mare, Chacco's Girlstar (by Chacco-Blue). Ashford Farms rider Jana Wargers completed the top three aboard the 16-year-old Doretto OLD (by Dollar du Murier).
Just outside the top three, Jeanne Sadran finished fourth with Dexter de Kerglenn (by Mylord Carthago*HN). After a clear round in 71.89 seconds, Jérôme Guery completed the top five aboard his own Careca LS Elite (by Carusso LS La Silla). Guery had already reached the podium earlier in Madrid.
Nicola Philippaerts and Abdel Said also scored top-ten finishes. Philippaerts jumped to eighth place with Katanga vh Dingeshof (by Cardento). The pair was just slightly faster than Abdel Said with the 12-year-old Bonne Amie (by A Big Boy).
