Victor Bettendorf and Qwando van de Rispen take sublime 1.55m CSI4* Grand Prix victory in Valencia!

The second week of competition at Moura Tours in Valencia, Spain, wrapped up on Sunday with the highly anticipated CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix, a key event counting toward the Longines Rankings Group B. After a Jump-Off with eight, Luxemburg's Victor Bettendorf jumped to victory aboard Qwando van de Rispen.

 

In a thrilling jump-off featuring eight competitors, Victor Bettendorf (LUX) and his 9-year-old gelding, Qwando van de Rispen (Matisse de Mariposa x Phin Phin), clinched victory with an impressive time of 46.51 seconds. Marie Demonte (FRA) and Epona du Quesnoy (Ogrion des Champs x Nabab de Reve) secured second place, stopping the clock at 47.58 seconds.

Alexa Ferrer (FRA) and Vitalhorse Naiade d'Elsenham Z (Nabab de Reve x Quattro B) finished third with a time of 47.80 seconds, narrowly edging out Juliette Faligot (FRA) and Arqana de Riverland (Cornet Obolensky x Diamant de Semilly), who took fourth in 47.92 seconds. Rounding out the top five, Adam Grzegorzewski (POL) and Issem (Quality Time TN x Clinton) completed their round in 52.12 seconds with four faults.
