Koen Vandeputte (BEL) and Victoria Gulliksen (NOR) see their 12-year-old BWP horse sold... This means Victoria Gulliksen loses her Olympic horse Mistral van de Vogelzang (bred by Andre De Visscher). The son of Elvis ter Putte is heading to America!
Recently, JVM Stables had been a part-owner of the gelding, with Victoria already in the saddle at that time. Previously, Axel Vandoorne and Benny Naessens had competed with the gelding up to the 1.50m level.
The highlight of the gelding's career was undoubtedly participating in the Olympics in Paris. Together with Victoria Gulliksen, the gelding reached the final. Just a few weeks ago, the pair finished fourth in the World Cup competition in Stuttgart!
Jordy van Massenhove announced the sale, stating:
"Thank you for every ride we were privileged to experience together as a family. We've had so many beautiful moments. Saying goodbye to you is one of the hardest moments of my life! That’s why we’re happy you’re going to a good home!"
