Until recently, the chestnut gelding was owned by Haras de Néroli (Karine Szenberg and Philippe Lecomte). A prior agreement between the owners and Épaillard stipulated keeping the partnership together until the World Championships in Aachen, after which the gelding would be put on the market.
Since the start of their partnership in May 2025, the duo quickly rose to the highest level. Their key results include a second place in the CSI5*-W Grand Prix of Lyon (November 2025), victory in the CSIO5* Nations Cup of La Baule with the French team (double clear round, June 2026), and a third-place finish in the CSIO5* Rolex Grand Prix of La Baule (June 2026).
At the World Championships in Aachen, after winning the opening qualification leg, the pair ultimately concluded the championship in 8th place with the French team and 64th individually.
Background
Fringan de Vesquerie was bred by Jérôme Coulombier out of a dam by Diamant de Semilly. He made his competition debut in 2019 under his breeder and was subsequently produced by Monika and Olivier Guillon, as well as Argentina's Ezequiel Andres Ferro Menendez, before joining Épaillard.
