Philipp Weishaupt: "Spain is a country to watch! In 20 years they have evolved to an incredible level!"

On Sunday, Germany's Philipp Weishaupt jumped to victory in A Coruna's World Cup competition. “Big congratulations to all (of the) Spanish riders. Twenty years ago when we came here first they only had one competitor at this level. Today they showed how strong they are now!” Weishaupt says.

"It was a super fast jump-off, we had to give everything," reflected Weishaupt. "The horse (Coby 8) loves the indoor (arena) here! The whole place here is made for horses. It is something special and the atmosphere is super warm. We are looking forward to coming back next year"

"For me this was my first big five-star win this season and as this was my last show of the year, my last opportunity to win!" Weishaupt said. "Coby is a fighter. He proved he knows what to do in the Jump-Off. This is where he shines! It's a real fun to ride him..." Weishaupt concluded...
