When it comes to the young talents, Thibault Philippaerts (24, BEL) is a flagbearer. He officially earned that status in 2022 when he was voted ‘Talent of the Year.’ It was a logical choice—Thibault won team gold and individual silver at the European Championships for Young Riders that year. The year before, he had his dress rehearsal with a gold medal at the Belgian Championships. Looking back at his youth career, his European Championships record includes three gold medals, two silver, and one bronze.
