70 horses did not survive a fire in Normandy, in the northwest of France. The fire broke out this morning at a stud farm in Bernesq. The cause is unknown, but local authorities do not suspect arson.
A large building containing several stables, horses, and equipment was completely destroyed by the fire. A 21-year-old man who discovered the fire sustained burns to his hands.
The 70 horses that were in the complex perished. The gendarmerie does not yet know the cause of the fire but does not suspect arson. The authorities have opened an investigation into the cause of the fire, according to French media.
