Belgium's Jérôme Guery has received the best Christmas present ever, he can jump again with his majestic sire, Quel Homme de Hus (Quidam de Revel). The stallion got injured on his travel back from Prague and underwent surgery. "Really fantastic to be able to jump him again," says Guery. "He is well taken care of at Gaetan Decroix's place!"
"The plan is to compete him again at the end of January in Oliva. The goal is a participation at the Olympic Games in Paris. We have given him more time to recover, that's why he feels super fresh now, but amazing as well." says Guery. "I'm super happy to have him back. The aim is clear... we'll see how far we get but for now we slowly built up again..."
In 2021 Guery and Quel Homme were a part of the Olympic Bronze winning Belgium team in Tokio. Last year they conquered the Silver World Championships Medal in Herning.
"I'm really positive, however the aim remains to keep him in shape and healthy!"
