Janne Friederike Meyer forfaits for Aachen

Germany's Janne-Friederike Meyer has forfait for the CHIO in Aachen. The German show jumper won't get her Buettner's Minimax ready to start at the mythical German show ground.

The 10-year-old grey horse was injured after the Nations  Cup competition in Geesteren. The German show jumper now decided it is still to early to let him start.

"His health is my number  one priority. Of course I'm sad I won't be competing in Aachen on home ground. Looking back at the beginning of his season, he was ready to shine on the grass..."

In 2010 Meyer won the team gold medal at the World Equestrian Games.
