Earlier this week, Nicola Philippaerts made an impression with H&M Luna van 't Ruytershof in Wellington. Today, the Philippaerts family announced the sale of the 13-year-old mare.
The mare, bred by Bert Van den Branden, is a daughter of Levisto Z. She was trained by Elise Van den Branden and joined Nicola Philippaerts' stables in 2021.
The duo achieved several successes together. They claimed the Belgian national title in 2022 and won the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Mexico City in 2024. Their list of international top-10 finishes is extensive, with their latest standout performance coming earlier this week in the CSI5* 1.50m Hermès Classic in Wellington.
