The Philippaerts family has said goodbye to their talented mare Kwik Tweet. This nine-year-old KWPN mare built an impressive career under, amongst others, rider Olivier Philippaerts and will now move on to a new rider in France. Kwik Tweet enjoyed great successes this year, including a victory in the 1.50m class at the World Cup in Verona.
Olivier took over the reins in the spring of 2024 from Jenny Krogsaeter, who had been riding the For Pleasure daughter for just under a year. The chestnut mare bred by G.J.A Moerings appeared on the international scene as a five-year-old, under the saddle of Bas Moerings, who trained her to 1.40m level.
Philippaerts achieved a total of three wins with Kwik Tweet. The first was the CSI3* 1.50m Grand Prix qualifier at Sentower Park. The second soon followed, with the CSI2* 1.45m ranking class to their name. Their biggest victory came just recently, with a win in the CSI5*-W 1.50m class at Verona, where the pair made their five-star debut.
