Otello du Soleil retires from the sport

After a successful career with Romain Duguet, Otello du Soleil (Alligator Fontaine x Papillon Rouge) can enjoy his retirement from the sport. Recently the stallion competed not with Romain Duguet but with Christiana Duguet at an international 1.40m level.

Otello du Soleil  was bred by Marianne Eichenberger, who also bred the recently sold Tokyo du Soleil.  After a period with Clément Boulanger and Kevin Staut, Otello moved to the stables of Duguet. The pair won the 2005 Salzburg Grand Prix and many other international competitions.

Later the Selle Francais-stallion got know after he escaped his stable at the CSIO Sankt Gallen an visited Quismy des Vaux. The mare got seriously injured after this visit.
