Passport problems give Pius Schwizer a free week...

Somethings things just don't go as planned. "This week has taken an unexpected twist," Swiss showjumping rider, Pius Schwizer, wrote on his social media. The Swiss jumping rider was ready at the airport to leave for  Doha but his passport was refused by the boarder police because of a ripped page. An attempt to travel with a temporary document was refused.

This week Schwizer was planning to compete at the CSI5* in Doha, but it turned out to become a free week on the agenda. Daniel Deusser was willing to train Schwizer's horses as they already arrived in Doha.

This week Schwizer will train the young horses, as he prepares for next weeks kick-off of the LGCT season.
