The BWP-approved stallion Ube vd Bisschop has gained a new co-owner: Philippaerts – We Live Horses. The five-year-old stallion, a son of Comme d’Api vd Hacienda Z out of In Love JW van de Moerhoeve, has been partially sold to this renowned stable.
Ube comes from an exceptional dam line. His dam is a half-sister to top horses such as Mumbai van de Moerhoeve, Opium JW van de Moerhoeve, and Olleke Bolleke JW vd Moerhoeve. She is also the dam of Sparkling JW van de Moerhoeve, another BWP-approved stallion.
With Ben De Craene in the saddle, Ube delivered three clear rounds in as many starts in the STX cycle in recent weeks. Following these promising performances, the current owners – JW Stables and Stal De Moerhoeve – together with the De Craene family, decided to bring Philippaerts – We Live Horses on board as an investor.
