Simone Blum's stable evacuated after flooding in Germany! "Luckily our horses are safe for now!"

Floods have already claimed several lives in the southern German regions. Various stables have also been affected, including the stable of former world champion Simone Blum and her husband Hansi Blum. "We woke up to water in the garden, and then everything happened very quickly, resulting in the flooding of our stable!"

The duo has 34 occupied stalls in the stable. World champion Alice also had to be brought to safety. For the various stables (and residents), it is still a tense wait today. A lot more rain is expected this afternoon.

"The damage is enormous, the hay harvest is ruined. What's important is that our horses have been brought to safety with family, friends, and other stables."
