Six year old Canturo mare absolute auction winner of Eye of the Breeder

After many foals, a few embryos and the breeding stallion Comme d'Api vd Hacienda found a new owner at yesterday's Eye of the Breeder auction, today the young and ridden horses went under the digital hammer.

The absolute auction topper was Feeling D'Eau Grenou (by Canturo), a six-year-old mare who will leave for France for just under 100,000 euros. For the beautiful Emerald gelding Quint vd Litzemaere there was a real bidding war. Bidders from Belgium and Canada did everything they could to win the five-year-old chestnut. In the end, it was the Belgian bidders who came out on top. Quint will stay on Belgian territory for 62.000 euro. Nancy (by VDL Glasgow vh Merelsnest) fetched 50,000 euro. The 4-year old mare moves to Sweden.

Among the unridden horses Bellissimo van Sombeke Z (by Balou du Rouet) was sold the most expensive. The 3-year old gelding will make the first steps of his career in Ecuador.

"Of course we are very satisfied with the outcome of our two auction days," said the organisation. "We saw interest from different countries and are surprised ourselves that Bellissimo will leave for Ecuador. We are already looking forward to the next edition", they conclude.
