Thibault Philippaerts sees another top horse leaving his stables. In September last year, the Belgian said goodbye to his BWP Elite stallion, LE Blue Diamond van 't Ruytershof, and now another Elite stallion is departing from his stables. Philippaerts is bidding farewell to Obama de la Liniere , who is heading to the United States of America.
Together with the 11-year-old son of Marius Claudius, Philippaerts competed at an international 1.55m level. Recently, the horse finished fourth and ninth at Flanders' Christmas Jumping Mechelen. At the end of last year, the duo also caught attention in Maastricht and stood out in various international competitions.
Obama de la Liniere was trained internationally by Hanne Lissens and Christof Deraedt. He comes from the breeding program of Jeroen Lissens and was entrusted to the Philippaerts family a few years ago through owner Stal de Muze.
