alltech-weg-2014-logoWhile the new mascot, Norman, of the World Equestrian Games (WEG) 2014 is presented to the general public, the organization of worlds largest horsesport event is in search of 3.000 volunteers. With still 499 days to go before the start of the event, the organization will open the volunteer inscriptions tomorrow. The candidates will have to be aged at least 18-years-old, be motivated and free for the two whole weeks of the event. In 2013 already 1.000 volunteers will participate during a test event. In 2014 about 1.500 to 2.000 extra volunteers will join the crew. Event director, Laurent Beauvais, already stated that the participants for the crew will undergo the necessary trainings to ensure the success of this event. During the two-week World Equestrian Games, there will be competed for the world titles in eight different disciplines, namely: dressage, para dressage, jumping, eventing, four-in-hand driving, endurance, reining and vaulting. © equnews.com
