Alberto Zorzi takes over the reins of Tops-Alexander's Sirius du Grant

It's Italian showjumper Alberto Zorzi who will now take over the reins of the eleven year old SF gelding Sirius du Grant. In december last year it was Edwina Tops-Alexander who turned out to be his new rider for the five star competition. She started the gelding since the beginning of this year in several five star shows in which he already jumped two times to a top ten result. In France's Bordeaux earlier this month there was a sixth place for the pair, while last week in Al Rayyan they also jumped to a sixth place. It was Tops-Alexander who took over the reins of Sirius last december, from French rider Thibault Pomares who succesfully trained the gelding to a four star level on 1m55.   This weekend it will be the Italian Alberto Zorzi who will take place in the saddle for the five star competition in Doha.
