Only six countries will be competing in the so called 'Gold league' of this years World Finals. At the end of this year Belgium will welcome 15 countries competing at the international World Finals for studentriders. Starting at the 29th of december until the 1st of january 2014 the Belgium Studentriders organisation host this event together with the support of AIEC (International Studentriders Organisation) president, Bram Van Hulle. "Last year the event was well organised by the Norwegian federation. With only 2 months to go we will have to put a huge effort in this organisation, however I strongly believe we will manage to put Belgium on the international map," states Bram Van Hulle. "The next event will be the World University Equestrian Games in Abu Dhabi, 'forcing' us to make an effort to host an unforgettable event." Only the top six countries are allowed to compete in the Gold League. A ranking where the level is set a bit heigher. This year it are Germany, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Spain that will compete in this Gold league, alongside last years Silver league-winner, Sweden. "At the moment we have two venue's in the running to host our event. The one is a brand new venue that will open in a few weeks. This is at the studfarm 'de Breemeersen' in Aalter, Belgium. The other one is the international riding school in Bilzen. This week we will choose the final location and start organising the event (details)." Soon the website will be online. for more info visit: http://www.aiecworld.com
