Since the first day a bid has been done on the famous Olympic horse, London. Currently standing on 4,002,500 (+17% auction costs) former Eurocomerce (TOP) rider has still some hope left. On the Dutch television the two time Olympic silver medal-winner stated; “These are terrible days for us. A great yard is wasted. The people here have done a lot for the Dutch sport and they have build up a big and beautiful yard over the years.” Gerco Schröder admits the auction and past events do hurt. The famous Olympîc horse is, as it is, called lot 2 at the moment. And "yes that does hurt". Rumour has it that an Austrian investor might buy London and keep it available for Schröder. “As I said before, I still keep a little bit of hope that London remains my mount, but it won’t be easy”, says Schröder. © TROS/equnews
