BWP takes #1 spot in WBFSH Showjumping ranking

We have a new leader in the the WBFSH show jumping ranking for studbooks with the Belgian studbook, Belgisch Warmbloedpaard (BWP) overtaken the leader of last month, Germany's Verband der Züchter des Holsteiner Pferdes (HOLST) which now holds second position. With the BWP having top horses like Flora De Mariposa (foto) ridden by Frances leading lady Penelope Leprevost and Emerald N.O.P. who will also compete in Rio under Harry Smolders the Belgian horses seem to be the top of the line. However the best horse in the ranking is still the Holsteiner Chesall Zimequest that has catapulted Simon Delestre to the top in the FEI ranking, the studbook itself currently holds seconds posistion. The dressage rankings for studbooks is still lead by the Koninklijk Warmbloed Paardenstamboek Nederland (KWPN). With horses like Unee BB, Verdades, Arlando N.O.P and Nip Tuck it is no wonder the Dutch horses stay ahead of Hannoveraner Verband (HANN). The Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch (WESTF) has advanced to third place mostly thanks to the exeptional scores Weihegold Old has produced with Isabell Werth whilst being the best dressage horse on the ranking right now. In the eventing rankings for Studbooks last month’s No. 4 studbook, Selle Français (ANSF) has advanced to first place leaving the last month’s No. 1 studbook, Hannoveraner Verband (HANN) who again lost ground to its competition in second place. You will find the latest rankings here.
