The 16-year-old show jumping stallion Casco 4 (Cascavalle x Landlord) is no more. Owner Anton Geessink explained that the sire was busy with his breeding duties when he suddenly fainted and eventually died. The stallion was in rent by an Italian studfarm where he already covered a 20 mares. The exact cause of dead is unknown.
Casco 4 and Marc Houtzager have been an unbeatable pair in the past. At the CSI4*-events of Salzburg and Maastricht they placed within the top ten in 2008 and 2009.
