Champion Trakehner stallion moves to stud in Bavaria

The champion Trakehner stallion for 2015 – will experience his first breeding season at the renowned Bachl stud farm in Bavaria. “This family-owned business, recently awarded top honours by German magazine Bayerns Pferde, can be counted among the most advanced stud farms in the EU, and is recognised internationally for its excellent service and professional customer care – and what‘s more, it‘s not much more than an hour‘s drive away from us,” says Dominik Hartl, explaining why he has chosen to send his prize stallion there. But before he finally reaches his new home, Perpignan Noir is once again being readied by Pascal Kandziora, his trainer and demonstrator, for the upcoming events and the scheduled 14-day trials. “True to the saying ‘Never change a winning team’, Trakehner For Life is very pleased about this partnership,” says Karl Ochsner, who admired the extraordinarily close bond between the horse and his trainer at the licensing in Neumünster.
