The 16 year old Corradina (Corrado I x Sandro) will be retired from the sport. In the future the amazing mare will be used for breeding. The decision to retire Corradina was made by the owner Stall Moorhof together with Corradina's rider Carsten-Otto Nagel. The reason behind the decision is that the mare has problems with an elbow, which unfortunately stops her sport career. Stall Moorhof bought Corradina as a four year old and Carsten-Otto has been riding her ever since. Corradina and Carsten-Otto Nagel took the European silver medal both at Windsor in 2009 and in Madrid in 2011, was on the winning German team at the World Championships in 2010 as well as at the European Championships in 2011, and also took silver with the team at the Europeans in Herning in 2013. It hasn't been decided yet where and when Corradina will be thanked off. © Press
