The French Haras des Grillons, based in the South of France, has invested in four new top horses, all previously owned by Belgium's Gilbert De Roock. Carlos Lopez' sponsor acquired the 8-year-old Everest D.R. (f. Darco), Jjimcy du Lys, Castor vh Molenhof Z and Christmass Z. D. The Darco-son, Everest was last year's finalist at the national Championships for 7-year-old horses. The 9-year-old Jimcy (f. Quaprice du Bois Margot) is the full brother of Gribouille du Lys and jumps at an international fivestar Grand Prix level. The 11-year-old Castor (f. Catoki) is active at an 1.55m level while the 10-year-old Christmass (f. Calido I) jumped at an international 1.45m level.
