Jose Maria Larocca has bought the 9-years-old Chin Champ (Chin Chin x Carvallo). The Argentinan show jumper bought the Holsteiner Stallion for his son, Mathias. Chin Champ is a Dutch bred stallion. In 2009 the stallion got a ten for power, 9.88 for jumping ability, 8 for "Rittigkeit" and 9.75 for jumping technique at the 30-days trial. The stallion was in ownership of the Holsteiner Verband. Before Chin Chin was ridden by Germany's Beeke Carstensen. The pair took home the gold medal at the Nations Cup at the CSIOCh in Wierden. Before it was Thomas Konle who competed the horse in the 1.40m Young Horses classes.
