Racehorse Mad Moose has been banned from the track last week. The chestnut, who is trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies, was banned for being reluctant and refusing to race one too many times. Since October 2012 Mad Moose has refused to start 4 times. The 10-year-old  wabanned by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) last Thursday. Despite his quirks Mad Moose won 7 races — 3 hurdles, 3 chases and 1 on the Flat.  He finished 2nd to Sprinter Sacre in a Grade One at Cheltenham, and second to Mount Athos in a Group 3 at Chester.   photo: Sport-Horse data
