On her website Germany's show jumping rider, Pia-Luise Aufrecht and her partner, Gert-Jan Bruggink have announced to be expecting their second child.
In 2013 Aufrecht and Bruggink welcomed their first child. The now 3-year-old daughter Marlyse.
Aufrecht will no longer compete because of the pregnancy. "I prefer to keep it safe. No longer take any risk," states Aufrecht on her website.
Aufrecht however still assists her partner in the daily management, training and planning at the stable. " I won't be bored, and soon we'll be with four in this happy family."
