About five years ago the Belgian family De Corte said goodbye to their Gondor van den Oude Eik. This now 13 year old gelding by VDL Cardento then moved to Canada's Elizabeth Gingras. With a child on the way Gingras decided to put her career on hold, giving Stephanie de Corte the possibility to take back her once favorite horse. "When I heard the news I didn't think twice and took this opportunity to bring back 'my' Gondor", tells Stephanie. With this impressive jumping gelding back on Belgium soil it will be once more De Corte to take over the reins. Before he was sold he was competed by both De Corte and Damiel Haletermann. He has an impressive 1m60 career with highlights a the CSIO4* Nations Cup in Ocala were he finished third, he won the 1m50 CSIO5* of Gijon en finished in the top three at both La Coruna and Wellington.
