Great Britain eventer William Fox-Pitt won his third Kentucky title in five years after a nerveless showjumping performance on Bay My Hero. This victory is William’s 3rd at KEntucky event after winning it in 2012 with Parklane Hawk and 2010 on Cool Mountain. Living eventing legend Fox-Pitt jumped clear to finish on 44 penalties overall with American Lauren Kieffer riding Veronica coming in second with a score of 46.7. American Buck Davids finishes third on Ballynoe Castle."He's not that experienced at this level, but gave me a confident ride. He felt fantastic."Fox-Pitt said, after firmly putting him at the number one spot in the FEI Classics Series. Fox-Pitt also finished ninth on his second ride Seacookie, while it proved a day to forget for world number one Andrew Nicholson and Avebury as they dropped from seventh place to 21st after having six showjumping fences down.
