The Zangersheide Spring Auction combined with the CSI4* Zangersheide International at Sentower Park closed with great success. The seventeen stallions offered at the first-ever stallion auction brought an average of €76,000. The grandson out of Nick Skelton's Dollar Girl, Coldplay VDM Z went under the hammer for a whopping €205,000.
Over the years, Zangersheide has become an established name in both breeding and sport and they are now continuing this trend in their first stallion auction. The studbook immediately delivered an auction with impressive results.
The highlight of the evening was Coldplay VDM Z (Chacfly PS x Maui La Sille). The grandson of Nick Skelton's GP horse Dollar Girl is moving to America for €205,000.
The second most money was paid for the half-brother of the already approved Zangersheide stallion Akarad Hero Z (by Aganix du Seigneur Z). Devil 2000 Z is out of a combination of Dominator 2000 Z and Chin Chin and remains in Belgium.
