Jan Greve is known as a successful stallion owner, breeder, and veterinarian. "I don't agree that only good show jumping mares can produce good show jumping horses. From my experience, I know that often the best show jumping horses come from mares that did not jump at the highest level themselves. There are, of course, exceptions," says Greve. "Compare it to a teacher... often, teachers have never been top performers in their field. But a good teacher produces the best in the field!"
