Aged 28-years-old, one of the world's most prestigious jumping stallions, Kannan (Voltaire) has passed away. The stallion did not only mark his stamp on sportive results but also through his off springs, like Olympic Champion, Steve Guerdat's Nino des Buissonnets.
Also World Cup winners, Paille de la Roque and Quabri de l'Ile may call Kannan their father, just like top showjumping horses, Oh d'Eole, A Big Boy, etc.
Kannan stated with Guido Bruynickx and was produced at an international level by Belgium's Francois Mathy Jr. Later he was sold to the stables of France's Michel Hécart.
