Ben Maher his 12-year-old KWPN-horse,  Faltic HB (Baltic VDL), bred by H.A. BRinkman and M. Huisman, follows as runner-up with 2017 points while Conor Swail his 15-year-old Count Me In (Count Grannus) finishes third.

Outside this top three Maikel van der Vleuten his 12-year-old Z-gelding, Beauville Z (Bustique, breeder: Pascal Habets) ends in fourth while Harrie Smolders' Monaco (Cassini II, fokker: Ralf Leutja) closes the year in fifth.

The Belgian Warmblood horse studbook is the best showjumping studbook of the year. For the BWP-studbook it are King Edward, Like A Diamond van het Schaeck (Diamant de Semilly) and H&M Indiana (Kashmir van Schuttershof) who are the best ambassadors. The French Selle Français follows in second while the Dutch KWPN studbook finishes third.
