The team of Equbreeding.auction has changed the bidding scene after it sold the full brother to Emerald for 360.000 euro, earlier this month. On Friday the team of Zangersheide auction broke its own record selling a Cornet Obolensky filly out of Jos Lansink's Valentina Van 't Heike for 200.000 euro. On Saturday that record was beaten when USA's Spy Coast Farm acquired Emmerby vd Berghoeve Z (Emerald x Nabab de Rêve) for 300.000 euro.
The second highest selling foal was the eagerly anticipated Emotion for Fun Z (Eldorado van de Zeshoek). The direct son of Fit for Fun, carried by the legendary mare herself, ranked up a price of 165.000 euro. This colt’s full brother - Especial For Fun Z - broke the highest selling record of a foal ever last year at the Quality Auction.
