Abdel Said adds another CSI2* victory to his list of honors

  • by Equnews Editorial

Sentower Park just saw the highlight of a busy international weekend: the CSI2 * Grand Prix. Of the 61 participants, eleven were able to keep the zero in the basic round. A jump-off with eleven had to decide the winner.

The fastest of those 11 turned out to be Abdel Said. He counted on Arpege du RU (by Apache d'Adriers) to jump a clear round in 31.81 seconds. With this he stayed just under a second ahead of Marlon Modolo Zanotelli. Zanotelli jumped to second place with Charlie Harper (by Comme Il Faut). They left the wood untouched and finished in 32.64 seconds. Lisa Nooren was the best Dutch rider in third place. She could also jump a clear round with Dienellie (v. Berlin) and stopped the chrono after 33.71 seconds.

Maikel van der Vleuten (Snoes) and Tim Rieskamp-Goedeking (Ib Qualita) completed the top five.
