Brash keeps Epaillard from winning second LR of the weekend

  • by Equnews Editorial

The first CSI5* class of the day has just been jumped in Hubside and it once again was a ranking class. 40 competitors battled it out against each other and against the clock and if there's one man to beat when it comes to speed, it is the Frenchman Julien Epaillard.

However today, one man actually managed to beat him: Scott Brash. Brash speeded through the course with Hello Shelby (f. Stolzenberg) under the saddle and finished in 58,41 seconds. Julien Epaillard followed on second place with Usual Suspect d'Auge (f. Jarnac). He kept the zero on the score board and finished in 58,76 seconds. Jessica Springsteen en Rmf Tinkerbell (f. Incolor) completed the podium after a clear round in 60,72 seconds.

Kevin Staut (Visconti du Telman) and Martin Fuchs (Tam Tam du Valon) completed the top five on fourth and fifth place.
