  • by Equnews Editorial
  • 10-09-2020

The main class of the day has just been ridden in De Peelbergen: a 1m40 class that was ridden against the clock. This class was a Grand Prix Qualifier and a qualifier for the Longines Rankingclass. The victory went to Brazil: Francisco José Mesquita Musa jumped a clear round in the saddle of Catch Me Imperio Egipcio (f. Contagio) and finished in 58,94 seconds.

With this time, he stayed ahead of the German rider Richard Vogel who ended on second place with Morton v't Merelsnest (f. Nabab de Reve). This combination left the wood untouched and finished in 59,60 seconds. Kate Derwin and Ahg Whiterock Cruise Down (f. Cruisings Micky Finn) ended on third place. The 11-year old gelding left the wood untouched and finished in 60,16 seconds.

Laura Renwick (Arkuga) and Patrick Jonkmans (Kamiel van het Langwater) completed the top five.
