On sunny Miami Beach, a new day of competition just started. In the CSI5* class, the riders were presented with a course directly against the clock over the height of 1.45m. Ireland's Conor Swail remained on top and claimed victory in this five star Longines Ranking class.
Conor Swail could count on the twelve-year-old gelding Errol (by Luidam) to set the winning time of 60.18 seconds in this five-star class. With this, he was too fast for Spencer Smith. Smith rode in the saddle of Manhattan (by Metropolitan) in 61.38 seconds to second place. With only a few hundredths of a second difference, he referred German Tobias Meyer with Casablanca-H (by Conteur) to third place. They finished in 61.86 seconds.
Kirsten Vanderveen could count on the seventeen-year-old Bull Run's Faustino de Tili (by Berlin) to finish fourth. Derin Demirsoy and Alsace (by Diamant de Semilly) finished fifth.
