CSI Vilamoura: Victor Bettendorf continues good form with victory in Youngster Tour final

In Vilamoura, the class for 7-year-old horses was the main class of the day. 12 combinations managed to have a clear first round behind their name. Two of them decided not to start again so a jump off with 11 had to decide the winner.

The victory went to Victor Bettendorf and Eagle Eye de la Roque (by Vigo d'Arsouilles). The Luxembourg rider was also in extremely good shape last week and continued on that path. He jumped a clear round in 38.72 seconds. Mans Thijssen and Joviality (by Warrant) took home second place. They had a clear round and finished in 39.57 seconds. Timmy Brennan and Gcs Ita (by OBOS Quality 004) completed the top three after a clear round in 39.91 seconds.

David Simpson (Indian Quality Z) and Adam Taylor (Jade) completed the top five.
