In Lyon, the CSI5* riders just came into action for a 1m50 class in which there was direct jumping against the clock. The victory went to Simon Delestre. He rode Hermes Ryan clear to the finish in 64.22 seconds.
Steve Guerdat followed in second place. He was able to jump a clear round in 65.03 seconds in the saddle of Albfuehren's Maddox (by Cohiba 1198). Gudrun Patteet a Sea Coast Pebbles Z (by Picasso) completed the top three after a clear round in 65.33 seconds.
Edward Levy (Sirius Black) and Gudrun Patteet (Sea Coast Monalisa van't Paradijs) completed the top five.
