Dan Jocelyn has to let Silence go

Dan Jocelyn, an eventing rider from New-Zealand, had to say goodbye to his 30-year old Silence. The gelding competed at the Olympics under the saddle of Jocelyn during the Olympics of 2004.

"He made all my wishes come true", Jocelyn says. "He was a difficult horse to ride. He always jumped good but he could be very tense. He was a brave and fast horse. Even the cross country of Badminton seemed easy on his back", Jocelyne continues.
