Delmotte stays ahead of Allen and Guerdat in CSI4* Hubside

  • by Equnews Editorial
  • 12-09-2020

The last class of the day has just been jumped in Hubside. It was a 1m45 class of the CSI4* competition where riders could collect points for the Longines Ranking. 33 combinations entered the show ring for this class and eleven of them managed to keep the zero on the score board. A jump-off with eleven combinations therefore had to decide about the winner.

That winner became the French rider Nicolas Delmotte. He counted on Uryoso du Roch (f. Nervoso) to clear the course in 36,79 seconds. Bertram Allen ended on second place. He jumped a clear round in the saddle of Pacino Amiro (f. Pacino) and finished in 37,21 seconds. The number one of the world, Steve Guerdat, took third place. He and Tum Play du Jouas (f. Querlybet Hero) completed the course in 37,30 seconds, leaving the wood untouched.

Giulia Martinengo Marquet (Quick And Easy 3) and Penelope Leprevost (Varennes du Breiil) completed the top five.
