Today the individual final for the Young Riders was on the programme in Vilamoura and the Belgian medals keep piling up: Emilie Conter managed to jump to the bronze medal on Balento CS (by Balou du Rouet x Cento)!
The final was a real nail-biter: a jump-off with four had to decide who would go home with the medals. Matthis Westendarp, who was the last to start, finally managed to beat Jack Whitaker's time. Westendarp to gold; Whitaker to silver. Westendarp counted on Stalido (v. Stakkato x Calido, Bosse), Whitaker took Scenletha (v. Scendix x Contendra I, f. Egon) from the stable.
Jenny Krogsaeter (Curious Friday) and Nerea Garaygordobil Marrero (Datina) completed the top five.
