  • by Equnews Editorial
  • 28-11-2020

Normally the Nations Cup in Vejer the la Frontera was already ridden yesterday but due to the bad weather conditions, the NC was scheduled for today. The second round has just ended and the winner is known: Germany.

Dietmar Gugler's team got only four penalty points over the two rounds. The scraping result came twice from Maximilian Lill. With D-Cassina under the saddle, he got eight penalties in the first round and 16 penalties in the second round. Janne Friederieke Meyer-Zimmerman was able to keep the clear twice with Chesmu KJ, just like David Will and C Vier 2. Marc Bettinger got one jumping fault with Undercover Z in the first round, but in the second round he was able to keep the zero.

Second place went to the Danish team. They received a total of six penalty points over the two rounds. Adreas Schou was the only rider in the team who could jump two clear rounds. He counted on Darc de Lux for this. Zascha Nygaard Andreasen also did not get a jumping fault with Chaccophanie, but one point for time in the first round. Emil Hallundbaek and High Nitro got twice a jumping fault and Lars Bak Andersen rode Colina 70 rode a clear round in the first round but was a little too slow which resulted in a time fault, in the second round there was a time and jump fault for this combination.

Third place went to the Irish. Over the two rounds, they received a total of eight penalty points. The Irish team consisted of Mark McAukey (Jasco vd Bisschop), Michael G Duffy (Lapuccino 2), Cameron Hanley (Esi Toulouse) and Denis Lynch (Cristello).
