Gudrun Patteer rode a fast jump-off with her Sea Coast Kashmira Z (by Kashmir Van't Schuttershof) in 41.85 seconds. Maurice Tebbel was just a little slower in 42.10 seconds with under the saddle Don Diarado (by Diarado). The third place was for The Netherlands with Jur Vrieling with VDL Glasgow vh Merelsnest (by Nabab de Reve) in 42.60 seconds.
On the fourth spot came another Belgian rider, Ann Carton-Grootjans rode a jump-off time of 43.65 seconds with kai Licha de Carmel (by Prince van de Wolfsakker). Anna Kellnerová who rode in her home country with Catch Me If You Can Old (by Catoki) stopped the clock in 45.59 seconds.
