At the Z-Tour in Lanaken, Zangersheide the day ended with a CSI3* 1.50m Grand Prix qualifier. In the separate jump-off thirteen combinations fought for victory, but in the end it was Dutch rider and silver medallist at the World Cup Finals, Harrie Smolders who came out on top and took the top prize.
Harrie Smolders could count on Bingo du Parc (by Mylord Carthago HN) to set the winning time of 42.60 seconds in the jump-off. With this, Smolders was around 0.68 seconds faster than Frenchman Robinson Maupiler. He rode in the saddle of Sir Charlie Chaplin (by Chap 47) to take the silver with a time of 43.28 seconds. Ezequiel Andres Ferro Menendez and Celli (by Cellestial) claimed third place in 44.24 seconds.
Although Eduardo Pereira De Menezes and Calypso des Matis (by Paddock du Plessis HN) had the fastest time but they finished in fourth place due to a jumping fault. Gudrun Patteet held up the Belgian honor with Sea Coast Guinness (by Nabab de Reve) and finished fifth.
