Serena Fumagali, a U25 dressage rider, has been found heavily injured in the field on Tuesday. It's not clear what happened exactly. The Italian rider brought er horse the the field but when she didn't came back, here trainer went looking for her. She found Fumagalli who lost consciousness but severe injuries in the face.
The Italian lady rider wad brought to the hospital where she was diagnosed with a broken nose and several fractures in the back of her head. She was operated for 8 hours. When she woke up, she couldn't remember what had happened.
