In the second round, it was finally Jessica Burke who jumped to victory. Riding Express Trend (by Future Trend), the Irish rider showed a lot of girlpower by jumping a clear round in 35.51 seconds. With this time, she stayed ahead of fast Italian Emanuele Gaudiano who took second place. Gaudiano saddled the 9-year-old stallion Julias D (by Arezzo VDL) to ride to the finish in 35.61 seconds. There was third place for Dominique Hendrickx's former Vintadge de la Roque (by Kannan). The 14-year-old gelding jumped a clear round under the saddle of Ahmed Saber Hamcho. The duo clocked off in 35.21 seconds.

The arrow-fast Mohammed Shafi H. Al Rumaithi took fourth place. His Caramba (by Chin Win) lost a horseshoe in the warm-up, forcing the duo to start last in the second round. However, Al Rumaithi did not want to disappoint his home crowd and did not let himself off the hook. He recorded a clear round in 37.70 seconds.

Ramzy Al Duhami (Manola LS la Silla) completed the top five.
